Heating plate in every comb tooth
Single-plate clips heat one stripe and leave the rest of the section cold, which is why the lift looks patchy. CrownLift puts a plate in every tooth so the heat spreads across the whole section at once. You get one even lift instead of three uneven ones.
Two temperature settings
Fine and color-treated hair takes a set at 176°F, and pushing past that only costs you cuticle. Thick or coarse hair needs 221°F to hold. Match the setting to your hair and you stop over-heating hair that didn't need it.
Scalp guard teeth
The outer teeth sit taller than the heating plates, so they touch your scalp while the hot plates never do. You can work right at the base, which is the only place volume actually comes from, without flinching.
Cordless with USB-C
No outlet, no cord, no waiting. It charges off the same cable as your phone and holds about seven sessions, so it travels in a purse or a gym bag. Volume stops being something you only get at home in the morning.
4-minute auto shut-off
It powers down on its own after four minutes, so the "did I leave it on?" spiral never starts. Long enough to finish your crown, short enough to be safe in a bag. It's also why we can ship it as carry-on friendly.

Frequently Asked Questions
Will this damage my hair?
Will this damage my hair?
It runs at 176°F or 221°F. A flat iron runs at 350°F to 450°F. You're using roughly half the heat, on a one-inch section at the root, for ten seconds, with no tugging or friction. Use the low setting if your hair is fine, bleached, or color-treated.
How long does the volume last?
How long does the volume last?
Most customers get a full day on clean, dry hair. Lift holds better on day-two hair than on freshly washed hair, and a 30-second touch-up brings it back if humidity flattens it.
Does it work on thick or curly hair?
Does it work on thick or curly hair?
Yes, use the 221°F setting and take smaller sections. Thick hair takes about 15 seconds per section instead of 10. It works on bangs and on men's hair too.
Can I use it on wet hair?
Can I use it on wet hair?
No. Hair must be completely dry. Heat on wet hair damages the cuticle and the set won't hold anyway.
What if it doesn't work for my hair?
What if it doesn't work for my hair?
Send it back within 30 days for a full refund. We don't ask for a reason and we don't charge restocking fees. Most people who return it tell us they were washing their hair right before styling, so try it on dry, day-two hair first.
